​Une des clés de succès réside dans le recrutement de professeurs “english native” capables de croiser plusieurs spécialités.

  Kathryn Baxter, responsable du parcours billingue “I have been lucky enough to have been involved with Sainte Marie de Neuilly since 2011 when I became an English teacher at the school and in subsequent years as a consultant for Cambridge et SMN. It is an honor to be building this new and exciting bilingual project alongside the management and pedagogical teams at SMN.”
Leonor Le Coustumer, English, History and IPQ teacher and section supervisor : “I am delighted to be joining the Bilingual Program at SMN.. I have over 30 years experience working in international environments and have spent over 10 years teaching English in France in a bilingual section. One of my main areas of interest lies in fostering confidence, innovation and creativity in the classroom. I am looking forward to embarking on this new learning journey at SMN.”
Victoria Tissot, English teacher “I’m French-Puerto Rican, I grew up in Paris and Puerto Rico and went to Barnard College in New York, where I majored in the Humanities with a minor in Japanese language and history. I have been living in Paris for about three years, and I taught English to middle and high school students at Franklin and Notre Dame de Sion. I am looking forward to combining what I love in the French and American system by teaching English literature and history to French students!”
Emily Platzer art teacher, “Originally from Hampshire UK, I’ve lived in Paris and taught English since 2019. In addition to language teaching I am also a practicing artist, working within painting and expanding this field to incorporate textile and sculpture. I graduated from Falmouth college of Art in 2011 and completed my Masters at the Royal College of Art in 2019. I’m delighted to have the opportunity to work within the bilingual program at SMN, I look forward to working with the students and developing their creative skills in English.”
Laïla Akhtar, Biology teacher : « As an experienced bilingual section Biology teacher, I am looking forward to starting at SMN next year. I am a scientist and passionate science communicator advocating for a more humane and sustainable food system and animal welfare. I’m looking forward to engaging the students and leveraging their natural interest in science to help them progress in the subject but also in English.”
Kevin Micheal Schellhase, Music teacher : “I am delighted to have the opportunity to run immersive English speaking music classes at SMN. In my first year I have been pleased to see the students improve their singing and English skills.”
